This is a GREAT blog post! I really like this key point when searching for books to read: Aim for books published in the last 2 years. The market changes a lot from year to year, and it has changed so much since you or I were young readers.

Such a great topic! It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out my YA was actually an MG, but once I changed the MC’s age and rewrote some scenes awhile back, it felt so much better–so much more comfortable and right!
