Love, love, love this presentation! As an animal advocate, pet parent, and writer, this really hit home for me. The information is so valuable and yet easily attainable. I highly recommend this presentation to writers and animal lovers of all ages!

Awesome post and I loved your talk, Jodi! I wish you success and may you rise!
    I have a few questions:
    1. I write YA/NA but mostly NA, would animal characters be a bit more mature or more alienated from anthropomorphism?
    2. When researching animal behavior, how do you translate what could be considered non-human into being comprehensible to a human audience?
    3. I’m a fan of mascot cute animal characters from anime, but I’m wondering, is there a a way to balance character growth and cuteness without the latter being “gimmicky”?
    4. Have you ever researched rare or extinct animals?
